CBSE Board Exams: Important announcement on Board examination dates, mode, and practicals 

With college students eagerly awaiting the announcement of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board examination dates, the Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday hinted in the direction of a bit of extra look forward to the schedule. Meanwhile, there have been calls for for postponement of board exams to May in view of continued closure of colleges and teaching-learning actions being utterly online.

This yr, the board exams needed to be postponed mid-way and later cancelled whereas the outcomes have been introduced on the idea of another evaluation scheme. 

DATES/SCHEDULE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) mentioned it had not but finalised the dates for Class 10 and Class board exams. “No final decision has been taken regarding the dates for conduct of board exams, and consultation with stakeholders are still in process,” the board mentioned as we speak. 

MODE OF EXAM

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, college students have been questioning in regards to the mode through which the important thing examinations will happen. The board, in its assertion, clearly dominated out online mode examinations. “The exams, as and when they are conducted, will be in written mode and not in online mode. The exams will be conducted following all COVID protocols,” the CBSE mentioned. 

PRACTICAL EXAMS

Since uncertainty stays over reopening of colleges in lots of components of the nation, college students are left perplexed as to how will they carry out their practical examinations. “In case, students are not able to do practicals in classes before the exams, alternatives to practical exams will have to be explored,” the board mentioned.
