James Corden is dealing with backlash after a petition has labeled the “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” phase of his “Late Late Present” “culturally offensive.”

The CBS present‘s recurring phase sees Corden ask his superstar visitors private questions and if they do not present a solution they should eat a “gross” meals. Whereas it has been a recurring phase for years, one girl’s TikTok video calling it “racist” for mocking Asian meals has gone viral.

The TikTok consumer, whose actual title is Kim Saira of California, shared a clip of Jimmy Kimmel’s look on the 42-year-old’s present during which he had to decide on between a bull penis, a thousand-year-old egg, pig blood curd, and a balut.

“Wow all of it appears to be like so horrible,” Kimmel reacted, to which Corden laughs and calls the scent of the meals “actually disgusting” and “horrific.”

The TikTok video has been seen over half 1,000,000 occasions since Saira posted it, main her to create a petition on Change.org. In it, Saira calls the phase “extremely culturally offensive and insensitive” and provides that it “encourages anti-Asian racism.”

“We’re holding James Corden and The Late Late Present accountable for his or her actions, and perpetual hurt this phase causes to Asian American communities. On the very least, Asian American communities deserve an apology and this phase to be taken off the air,” the petition reads.

Saira spoke to Immediately about her determination to name out Corden and the CBS present.
