West Bengal BJP unit on Wednesday slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly insulting the nationwide anthem by singing the unfinished anthem. Whereas singing the Nationwide Anthem throughout a press convention in Mumbai, Mamata Banerjee didn’t full the anthem and sat down halfway.
“Mamata Banerjee was sitting down at first then stood up and stopped singing midway the nationwide anthem of India. At this time, as a Chief Minister, she has insulted the tradition of Bengal, the nationwide anthem and the nation, and Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore!” tweeted the West Bengal BJP unit.
Minutes after this convention, a number of political leaders slammed Banerjee for this gesture.
BJP chief Amit Malviya tweeted, “Our nationwide anthem is among the strongest manifestations of our nationwide identification. Is India’s opposition so bereft of pleasure and patriotism?”.

BJP MP from Darjeeling Parliamentary Constituency, Raju Bista mentioned, “That is so unhappy! The Chief Minister representing the state of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore immediately made a mockery of our Nationwide Anthem. #Shameful.
“Nationwide President of BJP Yuva Morcha, Tejasvi Surya tweeted, “Right here now we have a Chief Minister, who fails to respect our Nationwide Anthem.
