The Ukrainian Membership of Moncton is renovating the basement of a former church to  present short-term housing to Ukrainian newcomers.

Natalia Haidash, on the chief committee, mentioned “there will probably be seven rooms downstairs, with two full loos, and an excellent big neighborhood kitchen. We are able to place as much as 30 individuals on the similar time there.”
