Filmmaker Hansal Mehta and his main man Rajkummar Rao on Sunday celebrated seven years of their 2013 biographical drama “Shahid” with a sequence of photos from the film.

The critically-acclaimed movie relies on the life of lawyer and human rights activist, Shahid Azmi, who was assassinated in 2010 in Mumbai.

“Shahid” had its world premiere in Toronto International Film Festival 2012 to nice viewers response.

Walking down memory lane, Mehta shared a sequence of photos of Rao because the slain lawyer from the movie and wrote, “7 Years of #Shahid.”

Rao, who received the National Award for his efficiency within the titular function, retweeted the images shared by the director and tagged members of the movie’s solid and crew on the microblogging web site.

Their subsequent challenge is a comedy-drama “Chhalaang”, a marked departure from their earlier hard-hitting films.
