Raghopur Election Result: RJD chief and jailed former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav’s youthful son Tejashwi Yadav has been relected from Raghopur meeting seat in Vaishali district. The Vaishali district is thought for being a stronghold of Lalu. The Raghopur seat belongs to his household. The seat is a Yadav-dominated constituency throughout river Ganga which Lalu Prasad had received in 1995, 2000, and his spouse Rabri Devi in 2005. But the BJP managed to wrest the seat within the 2010 elections when Satish Kumar defeated Lalu’s spouse and former CM Rabri Devi. This time once more, the BJP has retained its belief in Satish Kumar, hoping that the large killer will probably be in a position to do a repeat of 2010.

Tejashwi and Satish Kumar have been amongst 12 candidates within the fray from Raghopur seat this time. The Chirag Paswan-headed Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) fielded Rakesh Roshan to make the competition triangular.
As per the voter record of 2019, there are 3,36,613 voters in Raghopur meeting section. While over 1.30 lakh Yadavs type the majority of the voters, the constituency has a big presence of higher caste Rajputs, whose voters dimension is estimated at round 40,000 adopted by Muslims 22,000 and Paswans 18,000.
