Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ gets an animated avatar on small screen

Ranveer Singh‘s 2018 blockbuster “Simmba” now has a small screen companion with upcoming animated children sequence “Smashing Simmba”. The present, which can air on Pogo channel, centres across the little one model of Singh’s Simmba aka Sangram Bhalerao. It follows the “hilarious cavorts of the quick-witted, mischievous, and fearless teenager, Simmba, who aspires to be a police officer”.

“A fun-loving prankster with limitless methods up his sleeve, Simmba spends the higher a part of his days nabbing villains and miscreants. Thick as thieves together with his associates Ricky and Kittu Khabari, Simmba finds himself on thrilling adventures which completely characterize his catchphrase, ‘Mind is Blowing’,” the official logline read.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who directed the original movie, said the animation avatar of Simmba sounded exciting to him and he is happy with the way the series has shaped up

“The blend of comedy and nail-biting action, with young Simmba’s cool quotient, and humorous traits, is bound to enchantment to the younger viewers. I’m keen for youths to expertise the animated rendition of their favorite big-screen hero Simmba on POGO,” Shetty stated in a press release. 

This not the primary time that the lead character of Shetty’s movie has been became an animated little one star. Ajay Devgn’s “Singham” sequence additionally had an animated companion sequence with “Little Singham” in 2018.
