Most importantly, it maps the themes with the learning outcomes,” the minister mentioned.
The goal of mapping of themes with studying outcomes is to facilitate lecturers and fogeys to evaluate the progress within the studying of kids and likewise to transcend textbooks, Nishank mentioned.
“The activities given in the calendar focus on learning outcomes and can thus be achieved through any resource including the textbooks children are using in their state or Union Territory.
It also covers experiential learning activities such as arts education, physical exercises, yoga, pre-vocational skills,” he added. This calendar comprises class-wise and subject-wise actions in tabular varieties. The actions are associated to 4 languages as topic areas–Hindi English, Urdu and Sanskrit.

Parents are expected to help elementary stage students to implement this calendar,” Nishank mentioned.
