UN watchdog says Pakistan doesn’t deserve to be in UNHRC

Pakistan was lately re-elected to the UNHRC even because the nation’s human rights report is one among the many worst in the world.

While President Emmanuel Macron has made it clear that Islamic radicalism and terrorism won’t be tolerated in France, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan justified the brutal act of beheading by arguing that the instructor had dedicated “blasphemy” by displaying the cartoons of the Islamic Prophet.

The official Twitter deal with of the federal government of Pakistan had quoted Khan saying, “Blasphemy in garb of freedom of expression is intolerable.”

The Geneva-based rights group, which is the one UN-accredited watchdog of the worldwide physique, on Twitter rebutted Prime Minister Khan saying, “Your presence on the UN Human Rights Council is intolerable.”

In its response, the Pakistan authorities accused the UN Watch of being a pro-Israel Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with evident bias in opposition to Muslims. Arslan Khalid, the digital media adviser to Prime Minister Khan on Twitter alleged that the NGO had nothing to do with the UN.

The NGO countered the Khan authorities saying that Pakistan pretended to be a defender of Muslims and but takes an apathetic stand on the human rights abuse of over a million Uyghur Muslims. The UN Watch identified that the Pakistan authorities as a substitute of helps and praises the Chinese authorities which is perpetrating genocide in opposition to Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang province.
